Most people looking for a local trade pick from the map on Google. Add us as a Manager and we keep your profile complete and up to date. It takes about a minute, and it is included in your LocalWins plan.
Three steps, about a minute

Find your business on Google
On your phone, search your business name on Google while signed in to the Google account that runs your profile. You will see your profile with an edit menu above it.

Open People and access
Tap the three dots, then Business Profile settings, then People and access.

Add us as a Manager
Tap Add, enter the address below, choose Manager, then tap Invite. That is it.
Then reply DONE to our text. Google usually passes your invite to us within a few minutes, and we text you once we are in.
Not sure which Google account runs your profile, or cannot find the menu? Reply HELP to our text, or pick a time and we will do it together. It takes five minutes.
What we do once we are in
- Check your profile against the businesses showing above you, then fix what is missing: categories, services, the areas you cover, your description.
- Add the photos of your work that you send us. Only your own photos, never stock or made up ones.
- Ask you first before anything that is yours to decide changes: your business name, main category, hours, phone number or website.
- List every change we make in your Monday email, with where you show up in the map results that week.
Nobody can promise a place in Google's results, and we do not. What we can do is make sure nothing on your profile is holding you back.
What stays yours
You stay the owner. A Manager can edit the profile but cannot remove you, add other people or delete it.
Your profile is free. A Google Business Profile costs nothing from Google. Looking after it is part of your LocalWins plan, with no extra charge.
You can remove us any time. Same screen: People and access, tap LocalWins, Remove. Or tell us and we remove ourselves within seven working days.
What you agree to. When you say yes, you confirm you would like LocalWins to manage your Google Business Profile for you. That covers keeping your details up to date, adding your photos, posting updates and replying to reviews on your behalf. A Google Business Profile is free from Google, and looking after it is included in your LocalWins plan. You stay the owner and can remove us whenever you like.

No Google profile yet?
We set one up with you on a call, about 15 minutes. It is created in your own Google account, so you own it from the first minute. If you go to your customers, your home address stays hidden and we list the areas you cover instead.
Google then asks you to prove the business is real, usually with a short video on your phone. Only you can do that part. What to film:
- One take, no cuts, on your phone.
- Start outside so the street or a road sign is in shot.
- Show your van or your tools.
- Show something with the business name on it: signwriting, workwear, an invoice or your insurance.
