An AI holds the conversation by text, takes the job, the postcode and how urgent it is, and sends the owner a summary to ring back. The same number asks happy customers for Google reviews, reminds them when a service is due again, follows up past enquiries and finds new work near the business every morning. The founder
Paul Airey runs a property business in Hampshire and a 2,000-member gym in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. Across both, too many calls were going unanswered, and the people ringing did not leave messages. They rang someone else.
He built LocalWins to fix that for his own businesses. It worked, and his three brothers, a plumber, an electrician and a builder, started using it on their own lines. That is why LocalWins is built for people who spend the day on the tools, not at a desk.
Every new customer is set up personally, and Paul still speaks to customers himself.
