Questions roofers ask us
Do I get the details before I ring back?
Yes. You get a text with the caller's number, what they said the problem is, the postcode, and how urgent it sounds, so you ring the leak before the quote.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number and your phone. We give you a second number and you divert missed calls to it with a code you dial once, so the only calls that reach us are the ones you did not answer.
Will customers know it is not me texting?
The text comes from a number in your business name and reads like you wrote it. It asks what the job is and where, tells them you will ring back, and never quotes a price or promises a visit unless you have told it to. You can read every conversation and take over any of them from your phone.
Can it book the job in for me?
Yes, if you want it to. Give us your booking link or your diary details and it offers the caller a slot and books the job or appointment in, with the details on your phone. Without them it captures the job and tells the caller you will ring back.
What about callers on a landline who cannot get a text?
Most callers ring from a mobile and get the text. A landline or withheld caller cannot, so you get an alert with the number to ring back, and if you want, an AI receptionist can answer those callers and take the details instead. Ask us to switch it on.
